The Protea, an evergreen plant with strikingly vibrant blossoms, originates from South Africa and Australia, encompassing over 1,500 species flourishing across diverse conditions, from semi-arid landscapes to moist meadows. Renowned for its adaptability, the Protea thrives in acidic soils with a pH of approximately 8.0, withstands extreme temperature fluctuations from 0 to 32 degrees Celsius, and even endures under snow. 38 years’ of deep experience in corporate banking, investment fund management and investment industry at executive level. A seasoned corporate banker specializing in structured finance and agri-funding in the fund environment, LLP’s (En Commandite), fund of funds, equity funds, gearing, senior debt & junior debt distribution, equity distribution and risk management in funding, bond’s, derivative’s, notes, property development. He excelled in areas of mergers & acquisitions and corporate structured funding - structured debt – junior & senior and or equity or quasi-equity and securitization. He is passionate about unique intricate off-balance sheet funding structures for large corporates as well as asset backed based funding models for various funders/funds and offshore structures in club deals. Strong experience in tax-exempt, pooled investments that consist solely of assets for retirement, pensions, profit sharing, structured bonuses and other trusts which has a very strong historical value in retirement planning.

​Tilla is a pro-active, hands-on executive with extensive leadership experience in the banking and mining sector. As a relationship executive she received various promotions over her career holding positions as relationship executive, operational banker, team leader, supervisor and portfolio manager. As a trusted advisor she managed a portfolio of over 500 clients at a time, specializing in supporting the development of small businesses with turnover ranging between R50m to R150m each. Her core competencies include strategic thinking, leadership and communication. Tilla plays a major role in managing core competencies related to risk management and performance within the group.

​Manie was a well rounded and senior management professional with exceptional experience in both project and operational management. He had over the lifetime of his career worked in various sectors, most notably high- and low-tech manufacturing, mining, construction and logistics. Manie was strong disciplined leader who’s key competencies included financial accountancy, industrial engineering project management, marketing, production management, logistics management and general management. Manie played a major role in the operational management of organisations he was involved in.
